A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to CW...

On our way to Colonial Williamsburg, by way of the playground, we came across a very exciting event: (Well, exciting if you are a preschooler and mesmerized by construction. I find demolition a bit sad...) Yes, Current and Former Tribesmen (with or without the feathers ) have you heard the big news? There is to be a WAWA DORM! Well, the technical names is "Tribe Square" but it is going to be right next to the Wawa. What will this mean for those lucky students? Will they never even go to the Caf? Will it be a HoagieFest all year long?

But it did mean that this old office building needed to come down. And we were there to see it happen.

Don't worry the King and Queen MOTEL is still safe (you can see its beautiful brick exterior just beyond the construction.) A historic landmark perhaps?

We then went on to the playground, where Foo found herself often "stuck" climbing up the ladder.

And Sophia and Diego bounced like crazy...

Next it was on to the Climbing Tree!

We were so excited to have Ali hanging out with us!

Emma and Baby Kiley were also along for the festivities... I used to walk Sophia all the time in CW when she was this age. Emma would be working at The Precious Gem and come out and see me and tell me how much she wanted my life. Look at you now Emma. Living the dream...
