Home Sweet Home...

After an exciting week of vacation it was great to be home! Sophia loves to pick the pretty "flowers" in our yard...I won't tell her they are weeds yet. Innocence is beautiful.

The Old Country is New Again...

We finished the weekend with a trip to Busch Gardens with the Lees and the Ritners. Sophia rides the Balloons, the horses, the airplanes and the eggs...

Memorial Day Weekend in Virginia Beach!

We went to Virginia Beach to pick Sophia up and spent the weekend. Here she is on the beach playground.

To celebrate Travis's graduation, our 5 year anniversary, and the window when we can leave Sophia before the arrival of Tyrone Dos...we went on vacation to Quebec! So apparently it's colder up there...and we were unprepared, which is why we look like Heeberas in the same hooded sweatshirts the whole time! It was gorgeous and Sophia only missed us a little, but not as much as she now misses Ranger, my parents dog, since we brought her home.

Matt and Kate - Sophia's first visitors, babysitters, and bestowers of her in-vitro name "Tyrone" were reunited with her. We even got some more babysitting out of them - we have no shame...

Sophia was a superstar all weekend - a true graduation warrior...She even loved flying - especially meeting the pilot and collecting trash to give the flight attendant.

Travis Graduates!

We headed to Atlanta last weekend to see Travis receive his M.Div from Emory! Three years, two interstate moves, one child, a year of weekly flights later it was definitely a time to celebrate!
