Since Trick or Treating was such a significant part of childhood in my family it was only fitting that some Merry Tricksters from San Marcos Ct. came to Williamsburg to go with Sophia on her first Halloween...

Sophia attended her first costume party on Sunday! Though she was confused to be wearing the equivalent of a large snowsuit in 65 degree weather she was a good sport. She's still working out her personal stance on Halloween but in the meantime it was a great chance to get some pretty cute pictures. Can you findthe Busy Bee in the group shots?...it's like one of those Magie Eye posters...

Sophia meets Thompson!

Sophia finally met Thompson Norris at Ruthie's shower this past weekend. They don't even know how good of friends they already are...

New Toy!

Sophia was a crowd favorite at the doctor's office last week when she arrived clutching her spatula.

A Hot Afternoon at...Pumpkinville!

We ventured out to Pumpkinville today. Sophia loved riding the hayride, picking out her pumpkin and riding in the red wagon.

First Pumpkin!

We are struggling with a bit of seasonal confusion. This morning Sophia played on the beach in 85+ temperatures. This afternoon she came home to find her first pumpkin on the doorstep, a gift from her friend Judah. She loved it and immediately used the stem as a teething toy. Ouch!

Baking Time!

Sophia loves to play in her designated kitchen cabinet...for about 2.5 minutes before she moves on to more exciting things -such as the electrical cord behind the refrigerator, a huge favorite.

Well, We know she's not claustrophobic....

And Sophia does still occasionally wear clothes...
