VA Beach Vacay!

We had a great time in Virginia Beach last week. We spent plenty of the time at the beach and pool and surrounded ourselves with wonderful family.
(Though they probably felt like they were the ones surrounded) Michael commented today on how big his house seems now that we are gone and he is allowed upstairs.

Olivia definitely has some Dominicci in her!

Busch Gardens with Cousin Addie!

A more family-friendly gesture from Addie...
Olivia celebrated her 9 Month Birthday the day we were there!
And this kind of sums it all up....

Right, Together, Left, Together

Sophia had her wedding debut a few weeks ago in Jen and Smez's wedding. Let's just say she made it down the aisle, lured their by the Officiant (Travis) waving Swedish Fish. She looked fabulous though - very pristine in all white.

The Ring Bearer and Flower Girl being announced at the reception. They had to be carried by their adult escorts at this point...

It's time to catch up...

My apologies to my meager list of blog viewers - one in particular who has expressed her anger at me waiting  a long time in between posts and then posting  17 times. You know who you are. Our internet provider, umm..changed and I was lost in the oblivion of no web access. I was dependent on people calling me. It felt very retro. Almost as retro as the home phone that I am trying to convince Travis that we need. I'm dying to say just one more time in my life: "I'm sorry I missed your call.  I wasn't home." But I digress. I am back for now, probably temporarily as we figure out this world of "bundling" but enjoy -  we are having a very busy summer!
Sophia with James Blair at William and Mary - "the Co-yege," as she calls it.
We were walking the campus when Grandma and Grandpa came to visit.
"Olivia - this school is much cooler than its known to be. Just ignore what the students are wearing."
And my favorite: Father and Son were surprised to find themselves in the same outfit on Tuesday. Can you tell they are related?

Happy Birthday Travis!

Travis's birthday meal always takes a lot of creativity...
Sophia couldn't quite wait to blow out the candles. I know, the cake is still in the box. It was Carvel Ice Cream cake. Most people do a link to their recipe at this point. I will just let you know that they now sell these cakes in Bloom grocery stores - you don't have to find a Carvel. And they are as amazing as ever - remember the chocolate crunchies? So good.
Daddy with his girls. The big 29. Travis isn't feeling the strain. He's always been convinced that he will live to be 100.

Let the Games Begin!

Congratulations Evan and Christina!
Oh Ali, Christie, and Tara - I'm so excited you were invited! Oh wait, that's right. You crashed. Very Classy. I approve.

Well, wedding season is officially upon us - we have five in six weeks. Three of which Travis is performing, one of which Sophia is flower girling ( verb form ) and me? Well I keep dropping the fact that I now have experience in special music, specifically wedding acapella...but no takers yet.

Grow Old Along with Me...

Sophia and Judah remind me of two old people out on the boardwalk here. Maybe it's the Mr. Potato Head glasses. I love it. It's so hard to get a picture of these two except in costume - which I have to respect.
