Final Days...

Sophia is down to the weekend countdown for only-childhood/queen of the world. She's quasi-potty-trained and routinely jumping out of her crib so I'm sure it will be a smooth transition for all. She is quite excited to meet Baby Sister and push her in her swing and help change her diapers. Things are about to get even more exciting around here!

Homecoming!

Carrie Badanes - Class of 2007, excited for her blog debut, makes diamonds with Sophia. If anyone needs a place to crash in OH, the Badanes are very hospitable...and I know where they keep their spare key.

Ann LeFeve, forever famous now for bestowing Sophia with Bumble Bee Boots!

The Porch at 104 Braxton saw a lot of action as did our now infamous carpet...(thank you TBone for your encouraging words) Here's Trav and Pete with Sophia. Pete's still good with kids.

Pumpkinville!

Last year this time...
She seemed to really get it this year...

Sophia refused any help in pulling the wagon.
This is the first pumpkin Sophia picked, it was a bit flawed so the farmer gave it to us for free. Sophia knows beauty is more than skin deep.

Jumpin' Joey's

Jumpin' Joey's is a magical wonderland of "moonwalks" located in the illustrious Kmart shopping center, next to Mongolian. People fear the germs. I say, great indoor activity for when the weather gets cold! Sophia got to bounce last week with Fischer and Jess's nephew Caleb, and Travis who enjoyed himself immensely. (Parents jump for free - just don't forget your socks!) I chose not to bounce but might be headed back next week if in need of natural labor induction.

First Day of School

Well, this was actually about a month ago, but here are Braden and Sophia on their first day of "Mom's Morning Out" (gender stereotypes anyone?) It's just one morning a week for 3 hours but they have to pack a lunch so I say it counts as their first class. Sophia even as her own cubby!

And we're back...

Ruthie informed me that it appeared that Braden's Fire Truck Birthday was the last big event ever going to occur in Williamsburg...and thus I am finally updating. Sophia loves to play at the small playground behind Judah's church just a few blocks away. Today Judah and Braden came along and Sophia very honorably "shared"the playground with them.
